Turning Off Game Mode Notifications on Windows 10
Up until recently, you would have been able to prevent Windows 10 from showing you Game Mode notifications. But if you installed the latest Windows 10 updates, this is no longer an option. You are basically forced to see them everytime you launch a game, even if you don’t want to. Even more, there’s also a glitch that will make Game Mode Notifications to appear on every new application windows that you open, not just games. Luckily, there are ways to make the Game Mode notifications go away for good without disrupting the actual Game Bar. The only thing that will be affected is the annoying notification. Below you have two ways of removing the Game Mode Notifications. Method 1 shows the old way of disabling them, but that is not applicable if you installed the latest Windows updates. But there’s also Method 2, that allows you to stop Game Mode notifications by performing a minor Registry tweak. Method 1: Disabling Game Mode Notifications from the Settings menu (if applicable)
There’s a high chance that this method will not be applicable – if you have your Windows 10 up to date. But if you’re still running on an older build, it’s worth a shot to check whether you can disable the Game Mode notifications from the Settings menu.
